Forms can be archived or fully deleted in SEEDS. All users are able to archive a form, which allows the form to be restored prior to the July 15th rollover.
Note: Only users with Delete Forms and Events permission in User Database can fully delete a form.
Deleting Forms
To delete a form, click the checkbox next to the form, then click Delete.
If a user does not have "Delete Forms and Events" permission in User Database: A pop-up will appear on the screen asking for confirmation to delete the form. Click Submit, and the form will be Archived. Forms that are Archived can be restored prior to July 15th rollover.
If a user has "Delete Forms and Events" permission in User Database: A pop-up will appear on the screen which allows the user to select if the form should be Archived or Deleted.
- Archived forms will move into the "Deleted Forms" section of an event, and can be restored prior to July 15th rollover.
- Deleted forms will be fully deleted, including all data, and cannot be restored.
Deleting Events
Only users with Delete Forms and Events permission in User Database can delete an event.
In order to delete an event, there cannot be any forms in the "Deleted Forms" section of an event.
To Delete an Event:
- Restore the forms that are in the "Deleted Forms" section.
- Click Delete for each form,
- Select "Delete: the form and its data will be deleted." This will fully delete the forms.
- As soon as all forms are deleted, the words "Delete Event" will show in the center of the screen.
This was added as a security measure to make sure that events were not deleted accidentally.
