Clear Cache and Cookies in Chrome
When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites. Clearing your cache removes any saved options that may be causing your computer to not work correctly.
For example, you searched for a student and couldn't find them. Log out, clear your cookies using the steps below, which will force SEEDS to "forget" that you couldn't find the students previously.
Clearing Cookies/Cache
It's always a good idea to log out of SEEDS when you clear your cookies. A quick way to clear your cookies from the SEEDS website is to do some from the padlock at the top of the website screen in Chrome.
When you click the padlock, a menu will open up. Click on Cookies. Note: Your dropdown may say "Cookies and Site Data"
A pop up will open that says "Cookies" or "Cookies and Site Data." Click the trashcans next to each line. This will clear the cookies for the site, forcing SEEDS to reset.
A pop up will appear that states that the page must reload.
Reload the page, and log in to SEEDS as usual.
Hard Refresh
A hard refresh is another way to help reset the SEEDS website. This is completed by pressing Ctrl Shift R at the same time.
Website Refresh
You can also copy this link chrome://settings/cookies/detail?site=seeds.4schools.net&search=cookies and then paste it into the address bar in the Chrome browser to remove the cookies related to SEEDS.
