SEEDS4Schools is a web-based application that uses modern web browsers to operate successfully. 

Software requirements

• Modern web browser with support for JavaScript
  • Chrome  ✅ This is our preferred browser.
  • Firefox 
  • Edge 
  • Safari 
• A PDF viewer, properly configured to open ".pdf" files by default. Your web browser is often also your PDF viewer.

Hardware requirements

Any device that runs a supported browser should also work with SEEDS4Schools. However, older or lower-powered devices such as mobile devices may have difficulty with the very largest forms.

🔌 Connectivity

Connectivity is typically not a problem. If your web browser can reach our servers and our partners with HTTPS, you should meet connectivity requirements.  If your Internet situation is a little unusual because of your location or your network, this information can help ensure you can connect to SEEDS4Schools reliably.

Internet connection

Most Internet connections will work with SEEDS4Schools without any special configuration.  However, some unusual situations may trip our security systems and result in a CAPTCHA or Block page. If this happens, our staff can help overcome the problem and get you connected to SEEDS4Schools.

Some of these unusual situations are:

• An Internet Service Provider outside the United States
• An Internet Service Provider that doesn't typically serve end-users or schools
• A VPN or Proxy that has been flagged as abusive by our security vendors

Web Filter

Though student data is kept securely on our servers, the SEEDS4schools application requires your browser to load components from several service providers. 

If your system uses a web filter, please make sure these domains are allowed:

✉ Email

Messages from SEEDS4Schools

Messages sent directly by the SEEDS4Schools application may come from various email addresses, including a FROM address specified by SEEDS4Schools users. Our email server IP address has an excellent reputation, so our messages shouldn't accidentally land in your spam mailbox. However, to be safe, you can whitelist our email server IP address to be extra sure our messages get through to your users.

Messages from SEEDS4Schools support staff

Messages from our support staff will come from support@seeds.4schools.net, but you could safely whitelist any @4schools.net domain address to be confident of any emails from our team reach your organization's mailbox.
