Adding a Student from WISEdata

Adding a Student from WISEdata is an option available to districts who share their SEPA data with WISEdata via SEEDS.

To avoid duplicating a record for an existing student in SEEDS, prior to adding a student, always search for the student by using the Advanced Search on the Dashboard.  If the Advanced Search finds the student, Activate the student into the district or click on the Request Inactivation if that option is available. Existing students in SEEDS have historical IEP data in their file.

If the Advanced Search does not find the student in SEEDS, the student may be added to SEEDS via the Students page>Manage Students>ADD WISE STUDENTS  (note: this option is permissioned based).

1. Select the District
2. Select to search for the student by WISE ID or Last Name/Birthdate
3. Search District Students

1. Check the Add Student check box to select this student to add to SEEDS
2. Click the green Provision Students button to add the student
