Forms can be archived or fully deleted in SEEDS. All users are able to archive a form, which allows the form to be restored prior to the July 15th rollover.
Note: Only users with Delete Forms and Events permission in User Database can fully delete a form.
Archiving Forms (All Users)
Archiving a form will move the form to "Archived Forms" in that event.
- Archived Forms are deleted on July 15th each year.
- Archived Forms can be Restored to Active Forms.
To Archive a form, click the checkbox next to the form, then click Archive.
A pop-up will appear on the screen asking for confirmation to delete the form. Click Submit, and the form will be Archived. Forms that are Archived can be restored prior to July 15th rollover.
Deleting Forms (Must have permission in User Database)
Deleting a form will completely remove the form from SEEDS.
- Deleted forms can NOT be restored.
To Delete a form, click the checkbox next to the form, then click Archive.
- A pop-up will appear on the screen which allows the user to select if the form should be Archived or Deleted.
- Choosing "Delete: the form and its data will be deleted" will fully delete the form. This form cannot be restored if Delete is selected.
Deleting Events
Only users with Delete Forms and Events permission in User Database can delete an event.
In order to delete an event, there cannot be any forms in the "Archived Forms" section of an event.
To Delete an Event:
- Restore any forms that are in the "Archived Forms" section of the event by clicking "Restore" next to the form.
- Click Active Forms.
- Click the checkbox next to each form in Active Forms for the event.
- Select "Delete: the form and its data will be deleted." This will fully delete the forms.
- As soon as all forms are deleted, the words "Delete Event" will show in the center of the screen.
This is an added security measure to make sure that events are not deleted accidentally.
