See below for frequently asked questions regarding SEPA records in SEEDS.
Where do I find a student's SEPA record in SEEDS?
- SEPA records can be found on the student's District tab. Click on SEPA Data.
When I try to send a SEPA record, it says "Student doesn't have a SSA record in WISEdata."
- The student needs an enrollment record at WISE. This record is sent from the SIS, and must be present before a SEPA record can be sent from SEEDS.
- The student needs a WISEid on their Student tab.
Why does a student show the 6601 error at WISE?
- The 6601 error indicates that the student is not listed on the Oct 1 Child Count in the SIS. SEEDS does not communicate directly with the SIS. Instead, SEEDS send SEPA records to WISE, and then the SIS pulls the data back from WISE. A 6601 error can indicate that the data is at WISE, but is not being pulled back to the SIS. It's important to confirm that all systems are communicating correctly.
- Ensure the student has an enrollment record at WISE. This record is sent from the SIS.

- Locate the SEPA record at WISE. Confirm that the dates match SEEDS data, and that it covers the October 1st count.
- If the SEPA record doesn't cover October 1st, edit the record.
- If the SEPA record does cover October 1st, contact your SIS vendor for further assistance.
